Despite social media inspiration and subtle hints from loved ones, many of us still fall short when it comes to buying the perfect Christmas present.
Unwrapping a less-than-perfect Christmas gift could have grave consequences. Couples take note: one in 10 Brits admit they'd consider breaking up over it. In fact, some Brits confessed that bad presents leave lasting scars, with a further one in 10 (13%) Brits still holding a grudge and admitting they could never look at their partner the same way again.

Meanwhile, defying the stereotype of British politeness, a bold 60 people admitted to sparking an argument over a lacklustre gift.
