Travel experience marketplace leader welcomes the expert HR executive ahead of its 15th business anniversary
Jan. 11 2023 – BERLIN – GetYourGuide, the world’s leading online marketplace to discover, book, and sell travel experiences globally, today announced the appointment of Genevieve Vancutsem-Zednik as its Chief People Officer, effective March 2024.
At GetYourGuide, Vancutsem-Zednik will be responsible for setting human resources and people strategy for GetYourGuide’s 800 employees across its 17 offices around the world as the company expands its presence in the Americas and beyond. Vancutsem-Zednik and team will also spearhead key strategic initiatives, balancing the needs of operational excellence while developing a strong talent management and culture.
Vancutsem-Zednik, an avid world traveler with nearly two decades of HR leadership, most recently served as the Chief People Officer for Europe & Asia at global ecommerce provider,Wayfair, where she helped expand Wayfair‘s employment footprint to new regions in Europe and Asia, enabling the company’s global expansion. She brings significant expertise in talent management, employee relations, operational excellence, stakeholder management, HR policies, and labor and employment law. Prior to her tenure at Wayfair, Vancutsem-Zednik also spent nearly a decade at Deloitte as a Human Capital and HR Transformation Consultant.
